1. A new OnTrak TesTstik must be used for each test.
2. The preferred amount of urine to collect is 90 mLs.
3.

TesTstiks come packaged with an expiration date and lot number on the outside of the foil pouch.

4.

TesTstiks must be used within 8 hours after removing from foil pouch.

5.

Room temperature samples will take slightly longer to run than fresh samples.

6.

The TesTstik should be stored in refrigerated conditions.

7.

TesTstiks can be used after their expiration date as long as the foil pouch has not been opened.

8.

The sample pad cover only needs to be retracted half-way before the TesTstik is immersed in the specimen.

9.

The entire TesTstik may be immersed into the specimen.

10.

Keep the TesTstik in the specimen for a full count of 10.

11.

Several TesTstiks may be dipped into the specimen container simultaneously, as long as there is sufficient sample to reach the dip line.

12.

While the TesTstik is immersed in the specimen, slide the sample pad cover back until it stops.

13.

The TesTstik may be placed on a level surface or held while the test valid band is forming.

14.

You may lift the tab over the sample pad cover without the test valid band fully formed.

15.

A blue smear or dot in the test valid window means the test has run to completion.

16.

You must wait at least 10 minutes for the results to appear.

17.

Any formation of a blue band in the test result window indicates a negative result.

18.

A positive result (drug present at or above the cutoff) is depicted by the absence of a blue band in the test result window.

19.

Results remain stable for up to 3 hours after the Test Valid band forms.
