1. A new OnTrak TesTcup device must be used for each test.
2. The preferred amount of urine to collect is 90 mLs.
3.

For lower volume samples, the OnTrak TesTcup can be run with as little as 15 mLs of urine.

4.

The OnTrak TesTcup is packaged with an expiration date and lot number on the outside of the bag.

5.

The OnTrak TesTcup can be used up to 12 hours after removing from the bag.

6.

Room temperature samples will take slightly longer to run than fresh samples.

7.

The OnTrak TesTcup should be stored in refrigerated conditions.

8.

The OnTrak TesTcup can be used after the expiration date as long as the bag has not been opened.

9.

The temperature reading on the temperature strip should fall within the 90°-99° range.

10.

The OnTrak TesTcup will not run properly if turned upside down or tilted backwards.

11.

One of the two tabs on the lid must be aligned with the black "test" arrow prior to tilting.

12.

Sample should cover 1/2 to 3/4 of the lid when tilting the cup.

13.

The OnTrak TesTcup should be put in the lock position prior to running the test.

14.

With a sample of 30 mL or greater, the OnTrak TesTcup should be tilted for 3 seconds.

15.

The OnTrak TesTcup should be placed upright and the lid turned to the locked position directly after tilting.

16.

A blue smear or dot in the test valid window means the test has run to completion.

17.

You must wait at least 10 minutes for the results to appear.

18.

The test valid bands indicate whether the result is positive or negative.

19.

Any formation of a blue band in the test result window indicates a negative result.

20.

A positive result (drug present at or above the cutoff) is depicted by the absence of a blue band in the test result window.

21.

Results may be interpreted for up to 30 minutes after the test valid band forms.

22.

The intensity of the blue band in either the test result or test valid window will vary between tests.

23.

The OnTrak TesTcup cannot be run once it has been placed in the locked position.

24.

To ship or transport the OnTrak TesTcup device, simply place the lid in the locked position and follow standard chain of custody procedures.
