1. Each On•Site Alcohol test is used only one time.
2. On•Site Alcohol tests should be refrigerated when not in use.
3.

On•Site Alcohol tests can determine how much alcohol is present.

4.

On•Site Alcohol is a DOT-approved evidential breath testing device.

On•Site Alcohol is a DOT-approved non-evidential breath testing device.

6.

The cutoff level for On•Site Alcohol is 0.04%.

On•Site Alcohol is a quantitative test.

Saliva or urine can be used on the On•Site Alcohol test card.

One drop of the testing reagent is placed in the bottom well prior to adding sample.

The On•Site Alcohol test saliva swab should be saturated for 10 to 20 seconds inside test subject’s mouth.

On•Site Alcohol test must be used immediately after removing the protective label.

On•Site Alcohol tests can be used beyond their expiration date.

Test results should be read 10 minutes after specimen application.

On•Site Alcohol tests conducted outside of normal temperature range (65-85ºF) will affect interpretation.

The presence of a purple positive sign (+) in the upper circle in two minutes or less indicates alcohol levels of at least 0.02% or greater.

All positive On•Site Alcohol (DOT) results should be confirmed using an approved evidential breath testing device within 15 to 30 minutes.

Anyone can run an On•Site Alcohol (DOT) test.

18.

On•Site Alcohol is designed to detect ethyl alcohol (ethanol).

19.

The small transfer pipette (dropper) is used to add one drop of reagent well (upper circle).

20.

The large transfer pipette (dropper) may be used to add one drop of the reagent to the reagent well (upper circle) if the small one is not available.
